To all our friends who lost some do to the fenanyl crises. - like many other programs we at FSS were at a stand still to build that prevention bus.(covid) We got the bus 509,000 miles that had mechanical issues. I gave it back to the MTA. However we did raise money so we donated to " The way"
Homes in Pasadena. A place that gives addicts a chance. Also we built a sign where thousands will see the local and national crises numbers. This project did not go in vain. I know many who survived simply making that call. As we close and end this chapter. We at FSS are truly greatful and have a blessed Christmas and new year.

To my cherished friends. With the intention of using the bus as a preventive tool for the community, trying to educate folks of this opiod/fentanyl epidemic. I'm sure you know at least 2 people that overdosed and died. All of our ducks were in a row until covid hit. Every plan was on hold or shut down. We did receive the bus which would have been graphically designed for our young to walk through, a scared straight program. The bus had 506,000 miles on it. The amount of monies we fund raised to fix things such as the radiator, this one has 8 radiators. We gave the bus back. We at Sarah's sake decided to pull the plug on this idea. There is a bright side to all of this-
We held 2 educational forums, taught folks where to find help.
We gave "The Way Homes" -
$5,000 to help addicts have a chance to live a normal life. These homes give you a 2nd chance in life, we love what they do. We also will be erecting a sign that will have the crises hotline 24/7 phone number on it

Also stating the deadly statistics of American deaths- 2020 -2021 ( 100,306 K ). It will be on the intersection of 301 South and Waugh chapel Rd. , Thousands will see it. (CNN) Drug overdose deaths rose by close to 30% in the United States in 2020, hitting the highest number ever recorded, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Wednesday.

More than 93,000 people died from drug overdoses in 2020, according to provisional data released by the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics. That's a 29.4% increase from the 72,151 deaths projected for 2019.

Dr. Laura Berman confirmed her son Samuel died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl laced Xanax at their family home in Santa Monica, California.
