The Philander Chase Conservancy was thrilled to purchase William Ross' pen of 3 market rabbits today at the Knox County Junior Fair Livestock Sale. William is a member of LIBERTY LIVESTOCK 4-H Club and his parents are Dustin Ross & Natasha Johnson. It was William's first year in 4-H, and he place 3rd in showmanship among his group of 30! William learned a lot this year, including the proper technique for flipping his market rabbit for the judge.

Philander Chase Conservancy's property on Yauger Road, called The Brown Family Environmental Center/BFEC North Trail System, has woodland trails and a large scale prairie that is in bloom! We encourage you to get outside and enjoy it!

Philander Chase Conservancy works to conserve open space and important natural habitats in a five-mile radius surrounding Kenyon College. The conservancy works with farmers, landowners, environmental groups and government agencies to ensure the rural character of the surrounding area is maintained.
