Join CTRL+CREATE on Saturday, June 6 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Galveston Water Tree mural site (26th & Market) as we create origami boats and share the words, memories, and messages that connect us to this island we call home.

Write an inspiring quote, a favorite memory, or a message of hope on your boat. Selected boats and messages will be incorporated into our community mural currently being created by local youth and artists.

While you're there, you'll have the opportunity to watch the mural come to life, meet members of the community, and leave your mark on a project that will inspire Galveston for years to come.

The 🌩️⛈️🌧️ didn't allow us to host Saturday Fun Runs! last weekend, BUT, we are right back again this weekend to pick up where we left off!

Join the FREE community run club that seeks to promote mental health through movement!

Warmup starts at 7am at Wright Cuney Rec Center, “Under the Dome”.

The run will start at 715AM... The group pic will take place at ~815am.

Runners, walkers, & bikers are welcomed!
