We provide equipment and volunteer labor to prepare meals to raise funds for charitable organizations and those in need. These groups incur only the costs of the food and products used for the event, allowing them to receive the benefit of 100% of profits. Utilizing 13 state-of-the-art, custom, portable trailers along with many other pieces of equipment that support the needs of a successful event, the team consistently delivers quality products and beneficial results. Operating capital is received through the personal finances of our team members, through individual donations and sponsors from the local area. “Over the years, LCT has grown bigger and more rewarding than we could have ever imagined when we started in 1984. Without our dedicated volunteers and sponsors, none of this would be possible”. The Lighthouse Charity Team works in conjunction with other Non-Profits such as the American Red Cross, Gleanings From The Harvest dba Galveston County Food Bank, and other non-profits. The Galveston Food Bank even shares our Galveston location building with us! The Lighthouse Charity Team is available to: Individuals, Businesses, Emergency Responders, Utility Companies, Refinery’s and others in time of need.
