🎭✨ THAT’S A WRAP ON MAME! ✨🎭

We promised you a BIG cast, BIG music, BIG talent, BIG personalities, and one VERY BIG MAME!

A huge THANK YOU to our phenomenal cast, College of the Mainland Chorale, musicians, creative team, crew, volunteers, board and advisory board members, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring production to the stage.

We also want to give an extra special thank you to the actors and musicians who stepped up at the last minute to help us bring MAME across the finish line. That kind of generosity, professionalism, and willingness to jump in is what theatre and community is all about. 💜

And to the members of our company who were unable to join us onstage for the performances but were with us throughout the rehearsal process: you were absolutely still a part of this production, and we are so grateful for the time, talent, and heart you gave to MAME along the way.

Thank you to Moody Gardens Convention Center for welcoming us into such a spectacular space, and to everyone who continues to support Act 3 Galveston and professional theatre in our community.

And, of course, our deepest thanks to the incomparable Judy Norton for joining the Act 3 Galveston family and bringing Mame Dennis to life with us. 🌟💋

Most importantly, THANK YOU TO OUR AUDIENCES! Whether you bought a ticket, attended the mixer, stayed for the talkback, donated, shared a post, told a friend, or cheered us on from afar!

🥂 “Life is a banquet!”
Thank you for pulling up a chair. 💜✨

🌟 MAME IS MAKING HEADLINES! 🌟

We’ve been telling you that MAME is BIG and now you can hear from Mame herself!

Our very own Judy Norton sat down with Yahoo! for a wonderful new interview about stepping into the iconic role of Mame Dennis, her history performing here in Galveston, The Waltons, and why supporting live theatre continues to mean so much to her.

And we especially love what Judy had to say about Mame’s approach to life:

“Don’t be a spectator in life. Get in there, be involved and take chances. Life’s an adventure.”

Well, here’s your chance to get involved because WE OPEN TOMORROW! 🎭💋

Come see Judy Norton and Act 3 Galveston bring this beloved musical to life THIS WEEKEND at the Moody Gardens Convention Center!

🎭✨ WE TOLD YOU MAME WAS GOING BIG. ✨🎭

And we meant it.

Not only does MAME have a BIG cast, but we have the absolute pleasure of being joined by the College of the Mainland Chorale as our chorus! 🎶🌟

This collaboration came to us through one of our own A3G company members, Ariel Pisturino, who you may remember from Is He Dead? and who returns to the Act 3 stage this weekend as the delightfully memorable Agnes Gooch in MAME! 💋

We are so excited to welcome these talented singers to the A3G family and add even more voices, more talent, and more BIG to this already larger-than-life production.

BIG musical. BIG cast. BIG chorus. BIG talent. You get the idea. 😉

Come hear them for yourself THIS WEEKEND!

First and foremost, thank you to our audiences. You filled every seat for BOTH performances, and there is nothing quite like sharing a new, original piece of theatre with a full house.

❤️ Thank you to our volunteers, both front and back of house, and to our Board and Advisory Board members who continue to show up, pitch in, and make these productions possible.

🎭 Our incredible production team:
Production Stage Manager: Ruth Finkelstein
Assistant Stage Manager: Aidan Heffernan

And a huge thank you to Galveston College for welcoming us and providing a home for Rebel Hearts.

🎻 To Musical Director Henry Aronson and our phenomenal live band, who brought the music of this story to life:
Guitar/Banjo: Bob Brown
Bodhrán: Philip Dembski
Fiddle: Corey Geran
Mandolin/Guitar: Richard Roach

✍️ And, of course, our Writer and Director, Cailin Heffernan, who created this original work and trusted this remarkable group of artists to bring her rebels to life.

And finally, to our extraordinarily talented cast:
☘️ Ruby Brashier ☘️ Travis Kirk Coombs ☘️ Elijah Barrie ☘️ Taylor Nicole Adams ☘️ Jonathan Crummett ☘️ William Nealon ☘️ Eric Brown ☘️ Julian Lammey ☘️ Stephanie Welder ☘️ Eboni E. Williams ☘️ Meredith Canada ☘️ Paul Hager

One week of rehearsal. Two sold-out performances. That takes an extraordinary amount of talent, trust, collaboration, and a whole lot of heart.
