Join us at the VFW tonight for good food, cold drinks, bingo, Queen of Hearts and friendly people all in a smoke free environment.

Canteen opens at 4 serving some of the least expensive drinks on the island with a smile from our lovely bartenders Elizabeth and Theresa.

Kitchen opens from 5:30 to 7:30 serving 1/3 lb Angus burgers with vine ripened tomatoes, thinly sliced sweet onions, pickles and romaine lettuce on a Hawaiian Sweet Bun toasted.

You can also get fries, tater tots, onion rings, chicken sandwiches, regular and jumbo hot dogs, nachos, Frito pie. And you can add homemade smoked bacon to your burgers and chili and or cheese to anything.

We will keep you entertained with free bingo with drinks prizes for the winners while you are waiting for the Queen of Hearts drawing at 7:30. The pot is approximately $7,500 with only 14 cards left and the Queen and 1 joker yet to be found.

Tonight Monday October 12, 2026 at the VFW Post 880 in Galveston we will have a friendly Texas Hold-Em tournament starting at 6:30.
Tonight's food special is breaded pork chops, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn and green beans only 16 available at $11. We also have burgers, fries, onion rings, tater tots, egg rolls, fried burritos, chicken salad sandwiches and a few other things.
So come out and have some fun in a friendly smoke free environment with a full bar and cheap drinks. I will be in the kitchen and Elizabeth will be behind the bar.
As always we are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

We just made a batch of Apple Pie Moonshine shots. The longer it sits the smoother it tastes. This batch will be ready for Thanksgiving and will last through the holiday season. So expect to try something really good in about 6 weeks.

Come out and join us on Fridays at the VFW Post 880 in Galveston on the corner of 24th Street and Ave K, enter on Ave K side. As always we are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
Doors open at 4 PM for the inexpensive b**rs, w**es and mixed drinks.
Kitchen opens at 5 PM for our famous Steaks and Salmon.
Ribeyes $26.50 (price went down by $2)
T-Bones $20.50
New Yorks $19.50
Blackened Salmon $19
You also get a baked potato (or for an extra $2 a baked sweet potato), a veggie filled salad and cake or brownies for dessert.
Steaks are 1 lb or more grilled over open flame and salmon 12 oz blackened in cast iron skillet only used for salmon and basted with a half of stick of butter.
You can't get a better streak or salmon in the country, especially at these prices.

Come out and join us for a friendly Texas Hold-Em Tournament in a smoke free environment starting at 6:30 PM.

At the VFW Post 880 in Galveston on the corner of 24th Street and Ave K, enter on Ave K side. As Always WE ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Tonight's special out of the kitchen is King Ranch Chicken. Kitchen opens at 5:30.

We have a full bar with domestic and import b**rs and draft b**r from a local Veteran owned Brewery, w**e, and liquor all served with a smile by our bartender Elizabeth.

Join us at the VFW in Galveston today at noon for Cowboys vs Texans game. As always we are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
