Galveston Island Swim Team GIST is a year-round swim club affiliate with USA Swimming, that offers a learn- to- swim program.. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

The Galveston Island Swim Team is a year-round swim club affiliate of USA Swimming; we offer both swim lessons and a competitive swim team. We have training and practice groups for swimmers ages 4-18 and all ability levels. It is our goal to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging and developing each individual to the best of their abilities. Our Learn to Swi

m Program helps kids learn to be confident swimmers while having a great time in a small group setting. Practice and training are located at both Ball High School 4115 Ave O and Central Middle School, 3014 Sealy.
