Thank you to the City of Jamaica Beach and Way West Grill & Pizzeria for your support. During our annual toy drive, City Officials and community members collect funds & toys and this group challenges each other that the one who collects the most will accept a pie in the face. Turns out it was a tie but rumor has it some participants put toys in the bins of others. Sneaky little elves in JB! Today Mayor Mary Morse, Police Chief Matthew Seurattan, City Administrator Gilbert Salas, Galveston Council Woman Marie Robb, social media influencer Anthony Carmona (Mr. Smiley Face) and Taz Jones gathered at Way West Grill & Pizzeria to accept their pie in the face - each lovingly put together by owner (The fabulous Ms. Cindy) with such delicacies including sardines, raw eggs, and sprinkles! Thanks for being such great sports - and for your support and that of your community for the Blue Santa program! Can't wait to see what tasty ingredients next year's pies will include.

As we catch our breath from the 2025 Christmas season, and our board will gather to discuss what worked, what didn't, and what needs to be tweaked a little - we wanted to extend a heartfeld THANK YOU to everyone who donated a toy or thousands, an hour or a week, delivered a package or 51. Without our community and volunteer support - our all-volunteer board could not possibly have helped the over 1000 children we did this year. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

And for those who caught us out shopping bargains the day after Christmas - YES, we do accept donations of toys, other kid-related items, and of course money - year round! We are blessed to have places to store things, and money and toys never expire.

Christmas, 2026 is only 353 days away!

And all through the Blue Santa warehouse
Not a creature was stirring
Not a volunteer, board member or mouse!

Every present was wrapped,
Every package delivered,
All the trimmings put away and
Thanks to all of our givers.

Many thanks to so many
Too many to name
Every donor, picker, wrapper,
Food preparer thank you
We proclaim.

Over 1000 kids will be happy this Christmas
Galveston thanks each of you
Happiness, not cheerless.

As we bring to a close our 2025 campaign,
We thank all of you and remind you
Jesus came to reign!

We are attempting to complete all deliveries today. To our recipients - just a reminder that we need to reach you yo schedule delivery. Please answer all phone calls from all numbers today even if they look like they are from a blocked, private or unknown number. We want to get everything to the families so that our volunteer elves can finish their own holiday plans. Merry Christmas.

We are attempting deliveries but first need to reach you by phone to ensure someone is home to accept the deliveries – we are unable to leave them at a home without a recipient (18+) being home. Please – the calls will be coming from a blocked, private or unknown number – it may even look like spam. Please until you receive your delivery – answer every single call you get. If we are unable to reach you we are unable to deliver. Please share this with friends who have not yet received their delivery. Thank you very much for helping us as we strive to get every gift to the children. Merry Christmas.

REMINDER TO RECIPIENTS – to help us make deliveries go smoothly – please make sure you answer all phone calls from now until you have received deliveries. This will take several days. We will call to give you a window of time when delivery is expected to take place, and then the driver may call again to let you know they are getting close or that they have arrived. Please plan to meet them at the street to accept delivery – an adult 18 or older with valid ID will need to sign for the receipt. We are only able to deliver to the address that was on the application. Remember these calls will most likely come from an unknown, blocked or private number. Thank you for your cooperation as we strive to serve smiles to almost 1000 children over just a few day! Merry Christmas.

ENGLISH FIRST THEN SPANISH BELOW

TO OUR RECIPIENTS – PLEASE READ AND SHARE THIS WITH YOUR FRIENDS OR FAILY WHO SIGNED UP FOR THE PROGRAM. Remember – sign ups took place in October – so please only share with those who signed up already as we are not taking new applications at this time.

Deliveries will begin on Thursday (December 18) and continue until we are finished. Remember that everyone is a volunteer and we get deliveries made as we have volunteers available to make them. Please don’t call the police department or board members of Blue Santa, or text, or email – we are as busy as we can be trying to get everything to the kids as quickly and safely as possible.

Make sure you answer all phone calls between now and the time you get delivery. We have to reach you to try to deliver and our calls will come from a blocked, private or unknown number. You will receive one phone call telling you the approximate time (usually a 2-3 hour window of time) when delivery will take place. An adult 18 or older with an ID will need to be present and sign for the delivery. They will not be left without a signature. You may get a second phone call from the driver to let you know they are close or at the property. Plan to meet them at the street to pick up the package and sign for it. We will be delivering to the address that was on the application. We are not able to deliver to a friend, neighbor or family member. Please again answer all calls and be ready to show your ID when the driver arrives to deliver.

Thank you for remembering that this program is for the children, and that we are a donation driven organization run by volunteers.
