🏄 A free Galveston beach activity is drawing big crowds. It started almost by accident.

What began with a few donated surfboards has turned into packed Thursday evening surf lessons near Menard Park, where beginners of all ages are getting their first shot at riding waves.

Well….we went for it….,and the rain did too so GOOD NEWS….we’re rescheduling last night’s SAVE THE LOCALS featuring dem Soulfiya🇬🇾 and James Sturrock till Thursday August 6th. …,;the real GRAND FINALE.
The rain may have stopped the bands last night, but it didn’t stop from feeding the community. Their coals were hot and burgers and brats were beefy and plentiful…..and they’re riding with us for the rest of rhe season.
Thanks to all yall who are making this so fun.
