Exciting plans are currently underway for the 26th annual Grand Kids Festival, presented by The Grand 1894 Opera House. Set for Saturday April 30, 2022 from 10am to 5pm, the festival will take place on Postoffice Street from 20th to 23rd streets, in beautiful, historic downtown Galveston. Three blocks of fun and entertainment await visitors at The Grand Kids Festival. Throughout the day, guests ca
n enjoy performances by professional family entertainers, student dance groups, musicians, bands, gymnasts and more. Explore the wonders of handcrafting in the Artisan’s Tent, hear a good yarn from a Storyteller, or join the Tipi-Tellers in the giant tipi and learn about Native Americans. Kids of all ages can enjoy arts and crafts, art demonstrations, an exotic animal petting zoo, creative fun with chalk art and blowing bubbles on the wind.
