RECREATION
The Late Ni
ght Teen Center offers teens a safe place to learn about nutrition, manage stress, maintain physical fitness and form positive relationships with their peers through experiences in the gym, game room and learning center. Ages 7-17
Power Hour
ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Staff provide youth with the support, resources, tutoring and guidance necessary to complete their homework. As youth complete their homework and bonus activities, they accumulate Power Points, which may be used to obtain rewards. Ages 7-17
Torch Club
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Small peer groups utilize a curriculum which empowers them to develop responsibility, respect for self and others, trustworthiness, fairness, and caring. Ages 11-13
Keystone
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Members learn leadership skills, decision- making skills, and the importance of civic involvement and the virtues of honesty, responsibility, integrity, self-discipline and trustworthiness. Ages 11-14
G.R.E.A.T
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Great Responsible Educated Associated Teens is a leadership group. The youth assist the Community Youth Development Collaborative Committee with identifying needs and gaps in services from the youth perspective. Ages 11-17
Passport to Manhood
LIFE SKILLS
Boys learn decision-making skills and about diversity, wellness, fatherhood and the family, relationships with girls, employment and careers, cooperation and conflict, leadership and community responsibility, self- esteem and develop a code of ethics. Ages 11-14
SMART Kids
LIFE SKILLS
Youth learn and practice strategies to become aware of their feelings and learn assertiveness techniques. Youth are also provided information about substances and dangerous situations and are taught how to deal with those situations. Ages 7-9

Juvenile Path to Success
ACADEMIC SUPPORT/MENTORING
This program provides an extensive after-school educational/mentoring program. Students from Central Middle School participate in activities to strengthen their academic skills in Math and Language Arts and teachers act as mentors to the students. In addition, the students work with a Career Readiness Teacher and Employment Counselor to develop skills in preparation for future employment. Ages 11-15
