Get ready for the spectacular "KING GAMBRINUS LIGHTS UP THE NIGHT PARADE" on Saturday February 7th at 6:00PM! The Krewe of Gambrinus has been putting on a "family-friendly" parade since 1989 ... and NOBODY does it better.

Leading the parade will be Honorary Grand Marshal Chief Doug Balli of the Galveston Police Department. He will be followed by our special parade dignitaries, 2025's King Gambrinus ###VI Wallace Trochesset and his lovely Queen, Her Royal Highness Dianne Donaldson.

The 2026 Gambrinus Royal Float will be a sight not-to-be-missed! Dressed in all of their finery - King Gambrinus ###VII Trey Boudreau and HRH The Queen Cindy Bulgier will sit high above the crowd as they are flanked by members of their Royal Court - Duchess Linda DeBolt & Duke Jeff Tambrella, Duchess Leslye Mlcak & Duke Mike King, Duchess Sherry Gautney & Duke Vincent Duhon, and Duchess Erica McCarty & Duke Fred Koperski.

The parade will feature brightly lighted floats and costumed riders. Each float selected a unique theme to represent our 2026 parade theme - FABLES & FOLKLORE. You will surely recognize many of the characters from YOUR favorite fables, fairy tales, and folklore. There will also be art cars, bands of all kinds, dance teams, floats from other krewes and organizations - and much, much more! The event will truly be MAGICAL!

The parade begins on the Seawall at the Convention Center, travels down the Seawall to the Pleasure Pier, turns down 25th Street and into the historic downtown Strand district, ending at the Railroad Museum. There will be THOUSANDS of beads thrown during the parade - so plan on coming out to watch the KING GAMBRINUS LIGHTS UP THE NIGHT PARADE on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7th, catch LOTS of beads, enjoy the parade, and have a really great time!

Laissez les bons temps rouler!
