Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce C-Crewe Engaging professionals under forty years of age The C-Crewe, short for Chamber Crewe, developed after only a few short meetings of the Out-of-the-Box Committee.

The C-Crewe’s objective became to engage professionals under forty in the Galveston business community as well as the Chamber of Commerce. By providing events tailored for their needs and interests, this new age group will see first hand the function and importance of membership with the Galveston Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, as the group grows in size, so will their attendance and participation in Chamber functions.

A little C-Crewe planning over lunch! Our C-Crewe Executive Committee met at Blake’s Bistro at The San Luis Resort this week to plan out the rest of the year and we have some fun things coming up for our young professionals!

October, November and December are all in the works, including our annual C-Crewe & Board of Directors holiday luncheon to close out the year. C-Crewe members...keep an eye on your inbox! Details and registration are coming your way.

The 16th Annual Mudbugs & B**r on the Bayou was a huge success!

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported the event, and helped make the night such a great one for our young professionals and the Chamber community. The energy, the connections, and the turnout made it one to remember.

Mudbugs & B**r on the Bayou is finally here and we’re ready for a great night at the Galveston Boat Club, Inc. Come out, grab some crawfish from Zero/Six Consulting spiced by Maceo Spice and Import Company, a cold b**r from Del Papa Distributing Company, and enjoy music, margaritas, and a fun crowd.

The 16th Annual Mudbugs & B**r on the Bayou returns Thursday, April 30 at the Galveston Boat Club, Inc — now in its 16th year. And somehow, it just keeps getting better.
