Galveston County Recovery Fund

Galveston County Recovery Fund Working together to help Galveston County recover from disasters since 2008 Together we have stared down destruction. We. Don’t. Blink. Harvey landed.

The Galveston County Recovery Fund formed in the weeks following Hurricane Ike to bring private philanthropy to bear on disaster recovery. We do so with an understanding that we must use this restoration to also prepare for the next storm — be smarter, be better, be stronger. The Recovery Fund was active for 4 years following Ike and Fund Partners committed to answering the call when the next disaster struck. We’re answering.

Have you heard the word? We’re excited about this opportunity to support Rosenberg Library!!

We approach Thanksgiving with much gratitude this year! We have been awarded a $50,000 Challenge Grant from Galveston County Recovery Fund which will go toward our efforts to purchase a generator for the library.

This generous grant will serve as the catalyst for other donors to give to Rosenberg Library so that we can preserve our city's history and bring the community together in times of distress and disaster.

💛 Thank you, Galveston County Recovery Fund! 💛
