A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful parishioners of St Mary of the Expectation - League City for your generous donation of personal hygiene supplies to support our seafarers at the Galveston Seafarer Center. Your kindness, compassion, and generosity make a meaningful difference in the lives of the men and women who spend so much time away from home.

Thank you for being such a blessing to our seafaring community. We are truly grateful for your continued support! ❤️⚓

If you would like to support our mission, we've included our Amazon Wish List below. Every donation, big or small, helps us provide comfort, care, and a warm welcome to visiting seafarers. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/16YFGIUNEFO10?ref_=wl_share

We had a very special visitor at the Galveston Seafarer Center! 🐾

Today we welcomed Tyson, the drug-sniffing dog from the Carnival Breeze, along with his handler. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet this hardworking K-9 team and learn more about the important role they play in keeping our maritime community safe.

Thank you to Tyson and his handler for stopping by and sharing your time with us. We truly enjoyed your visit and appreciate all that you do!

Our volunteers served over 200 hot dogs to our mariners on Saturday to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the 4th of July. We loved getting to share our nation’s birthday with all our international mariners!

We could not serve the seafarers that come through our port without our amazing volunteers so we fed them dinner last week. Thank you for everything you do for us and the seafarers.

And thank you to Mario’s for the delicious lasagna and cheesecake!

Interested in supporting our mission? Reach out to us to find out about our volunteer opportunities!
