I love this photo of the wonderful League-Kempner home, taken in 1900 (before the historic hurricane). I especially like the details like the corner-mounted flagpole, striped porch curtains, and beautifully manicured yard!
This beauty is currently being lovingly restored, and you can see it for yourself. Tours are Wednesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at 1702 Broadway. It's a unique opportunity to see an in-progress restoration!
