Brothers and Sisters — Local 20
City Council is filling two open seats on the Galveston Wharves Board of Trustees . Our city council members vote for the candidates on September 17.

Local 20 Union member Graham Forshee has applied. He is a Texas A&M Galveston Maritime Administration grad (2010), a Galveston resident, a small-business owner, and a guy who has put in a lot of hours on this waterfront through Local 20.
The Wharves Board of Trustees is a 3 year voluntary commitment that makes decisions that directly impact our livelihood, including cruise terminals, dock repairs, parking, and guiding the long term vision and plans for our port. It helps to have someone on it who actually knows the docks, the traffic, and the people who work them, and most of all supports LABOR.

Easy ask — 2 minutes: Copy the message below and email City Council. That’s it.
Copy / paste this:

Subject line:

Support Graham Forshee for Wharves Board

Email body:

I am a member of ILA Local 20 and I support Graham Forshee for one of the open Galveston Wharves Board seats. He has a Maritime Administration degree from Texas A&M Galveston, years on this waterfront, and he lives here with his family. Please appoint him.
Thank you.
