The Galveston Island Zetas stand with survivors. We stand for safety, healing, and relationships rooted in love and respect.

Domestic violence isn’t always visible. Abuse can include threats, humiliation, isolation, and control over someone’s finances. As a community, we can recognize the signs, listen without judgment, and support survivors without pressuring them.

Speak up when you witness bullying, check on someone who’s being mistreated, and choose kind words every day.

For 251 years, the United States Navy has stood watch—defending our nation, protecting our freedoms, and serving with courage, honor, and unwavering commitment across the seas and around the world.

Today, we salute the generations of Sailors who answered the call to serve. We honor those currently standing the watch, those who served before them, and those whose sacrifice will forever be woven into the proud history of the United States Navy.

To every Sailor—past and present—and to the families who have supported them through deployments, separations, homecomings, and countless sacrifices: thank you for your service and dedication to our nation.

Today, we celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous people throughout history. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is proud to celebrate the diversity that comprises our Sisterhood, and we honor the beautiful legacy of our indigenous brothers and sisters.

Sorors, let's use this day as an opportunity to educate ourselves, engage in meaningful conversations, and stand in solidarity with Indigenous people. Together, we can foster a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

Our Soror, Dr. Opal Lee is celebrating 100 years, and as the first Divine 9 organization to serve as a Legacy Donor, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is proudly supporting the 1920 Freedom Campaign and the future 50,000-square-foot cultural arts complex in Fort Worth, Texas.

As Dr. Opal Lee celebrates her 100th Birthday on today, we’re calling on every Zeta and auxiliary member to be part of this historic moment.
