Hey, friends! As you may already know, we will be dissolving as an organization at the end of next month. Our hope is that this is just temporary, but due to the economic impact, shortage of volunteers, and lack of proper funding, it was no longer healthy for us to continue in this ministry.
WITH THAT BEING SAID, we feel that WE ARE NOT DONE.
We have TWO big things in the works before we hang up our Projects For A Purpose shirts!
First, We appreciate EVERYONE out there who has supported us in some way. We want to show that appreciation by having an appreciation dinner for you guys. Whether you donated, volunteered, or contributed in another way, we want to recognize you for your hard work and commitment to our organization and community.
More details on the appreciation dinner will come, but we are still working out those details. To get notified of that information when it becomes available, text PFAP to 765-387-5683.
And, next. We are definitely not done positively impacting the community. We are working real closely with the family of the late Justin Charlie Dunlap. We are organizing a Chicken & Noodle Fundraising Dinner, and all the funds raised will be given out as Scholarships to select students in the Band Program at Taylor High School — where Mr. Dunlap positively impacted so many students.
What we are asking from you.
If you’d be interested in volunteering or donating for this event, please let us know in the comments.
Lastly, we’re going to need a little financial help to get the dinner paid for to leave as much money for the scholarships as possible.
We’ve got the April Calendar Out, and you probably know how this works. Pick a date. The number of the day is the amount you pay. If you pick April 3rd, You donate $3. If you pick April 21st, you donate $21.
All proceeds will go towards funding the ingredients needed for the dinner. In the event that we raise more money than we need from this calendar fundraiser , the remaining funds will go towards the scholarship fund.
A huge thank you to Jen Morris for allowing us to do this memorial dinner for your brother!
