We’re not strangers to running on empty. We’ve been very resourceful over the years to stay in operation. Honest truth is, this season has been tough on our wallets and we already know this is only going to become more challenging. Fuel is our biggest cost, daily operations average $500 per day. But in a days work, our team can produce enough wood to take care of 14 elders. That’s a total of $3,500 worth of wood if we were for profit. But as a non profit that’s how much wood in dollars we are giving away daily. Deliveries of running 8 trucks with trailers has slowed down due to today’s current gas prices. We know everyone is going through these tough times as well, it’s why we are always grateful of any opportunity for support from our contributors. Much of our gear is hanging in there, parts get broken and other parts need replacing but we find our ways to make it happen. We hope this post encourages you to join us, get hands on experience of how this works and helps so many. We also want to out the vibe out there to keep any grant opportunities to be sent our way. We’re a sober crew, everyone is one a sobriety journey, we do workshops with youth and we build warriors to new potentials. We’re get ask how people can help, just talking with others about us is helpful. Joining us for a few hours is helpful. On our website, we have a page to contribute but we can also navigate through inbox messages or via email at [email protected] We also have an account with Gallup Lumber plus our nonprofit Wells Fargo acct. Thank you for keeping us fueled. You are all amazing. We appreciate you.
