🕊️There are times when the Holy Spirit speaks to you. When you have thoughts that carry so much wisdom you are positive it didn’t come from you.

We were having our devotional this morning and my son was sharing what he read in Acts 2 about the Pentecost on how the Holy Spirit came into the disciples and gave them the ability to speak other languages.

I was reading in Jubilees about the Garden of Eden and how every living thing could speak with one another until Eve sinned and that was removed.

My little girl shared how the Holy Spirit came into the room and fire hovered over the apostles. It was like they were on fire but not. In the fire but they didn’t get burned.

📖 “Cleave unto him, and depart not away, that thou mayest be increased at thy last end.”
‭‭Ecclesiasticus‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬ ‭KJVAAE‬‬

How do I view rejection in my life?

Do I see trials or tribulations as God’s will?

Do I accept responsibility for my actions?

🙏🏻 Heavenly Father,

You are so faithful to us. You made a way for those that would choose to disobey You.

You made a place for them all to go outside of the garden.

You made a way for us all to return to You.

You make roads and paths where there could be none otherwise.

All glory to You, You do so much more than we imagine or can fathom!

Thank You for the ties that connect us together. For the Word You gave us. For the ability to communicate in Christ.

Your Holy Spirit will give us gifts and it amazes me what You restore.

Thank You for the fire that You use to develop our ability to have faith, to communicate and to prosper.

Thank You.
Do with me as You will.
For Your glory.

In Jesus name. Amen.

My baby girl was so tired from playing outside yesterday that she was grumpy and easily upset last night. She is learning to self-regulate and understand that it’s her responsibility to control her emotions but she needs help seeing that she is struggling and needs to be guided towards proper communication.

When Moses took his people and went into the desert God guided them and gave them instructions. They didn’t obey and because they lacked faith, holiness and faithfulness they were unable to access their blessing.

Numbers 1:3

3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

Do we feel entitled to take out our frustrations on others?

Do we assume because we are of a certain age that we are entitled to special treatment?

Are we ever given marching orders and we don’t follow through?

Heavenly Father thank You for the herbs, plants and tools that You give us to help us to have a balanced body, spirit and mind. Thank you for the healing You provide in Your words and in Your law. Since the beginning You have said to love one another. We may feel entitled to how we feel or feel justified in our actions but You show us a different way to be. To be accountable to You for our actions and our choices. I may not be able to change the way others respond or behave but I can control me. I can set parameters and boundaries that benefit myself and others. Please help me to do this in a way that’s pleasing to You and benefits others. Guide my thoughts and give me discernment. Protect my ears, my body, my spirit, and my eyes from the evil of this world. Show me the things that You do not approve of so that I do not take part in evil. Your approval is important to me. I want to walk as You have walked because if I do not then I don’t know You. I do not want to hear you say that You do not know me and don’t permit me into Your kingdom. For Your glory may we seek You and Your face. In Jesus Christ’s name amen.

09/29/2025

Yesterday morning I woke up from a dream about Justice and Judgement. It was a dream from the Spirit. The dreams feel different and there is a lot packed in and when I wake up it can feel like it’s disappearing like sand. I didn’t get to write down the details but I got most of the meaning. It spoke of past sins and how they were forgotten by the Lord. How we would be judged by what we did after we asked Jesus into our lives. I prayed that I would get a better understanding at church.

Part of what our Pastor said was “Our sins are as far as the East is from the west. He remembers them no more. He transforms people spiritually from death to life.”

“Confess with your mouth and believe that Jesus is Christ. Seek to follow His commands because you love Him.”

Galatians 5:20-21

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Do I seek the Lord?

Does He hear and answer?

Do I love the Lord enough to change for Him?

Heavenly Father when I was blind and couldn’t see, I had done things or owned things that I now know would displease You. I didn’t realize that there were things You hate, like witches and magic. I couldn’t see the evil that this world offers, because it was so enticing until You showed me. Now that I know how much You love me, how much your Spirit loves me and how much Jesus loves me I cannot participate in wickedness. I love You more. There is nothing on this earth more important and precious than You. Please help us to understand your nature better and the love You give. I pray that we would seek to please You and to make You the priority. I trust in You and your will for my life. Thank you for helping me to see the light and guiding me to the knowledge that you will never fail me. Thank you Jesus. In Jesus name, amen.

When I don’t know where to start or where to go I have to go to Jesus. I have to tell Him that I don’t know what to do and that I need help. He is faithful and helps me.

We have to be careful about following our hearts. Our hearts can be foolish and follow things that are not good for us. We must follow Him, then our hearts will become focused on the right path. My heart is still learning to focus on Him and not what the flesh wants. If we look to Him we will never be alone or end up going in the wrong direction.

Romans 12:1-2

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Is exercising control over our bodies a sacrifice to God?

Can we exercise control over ourselves alone?

Who restores our minds to a better place?

Heavenly Father please help us to count it all joy when we fall into different kinds of temptations. Knowing that the trying of our faith creates patience. Help us to let patience have her perfect work, that we may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
If any of us lack wisdom, let us remember to ask You for it, for You are generous and You don’t criticize but You give when asked.
Let us ask in faith, without faltering so we may not be tossed about.
For let us not think that we shall receive any thing of You if we allow ourselves to be tossed about.
I do not want to be double minded and unstable in all my ways.
I’m tired Lord and I want to rest. I want some sleep..but I know that you reward those who seek You with their whole heart, mind and strength. This strength is not mine, this heart is focused on You, and this mind needs your wisdom. May I always seek to please You knowing that You love me and will always be my biggest advocate and friend. You know my heart and it loves You.
Blessed is the one that endures temptation, for when they are tried, they shall receive the crown of life, which You have promised to those that love You. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name amen.

James 1:2-12 (prayer)

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 is a great passage on sleep. I couldn’t help but meditate on that passage last night and not completely understanding it, I will keep meditating today. 🤗

I had requested Friday off as a vacation day and we planned to put up siding on the house and paint. We woke up and it was raining. It kept on raining and we were able to do some things inside but eventually decided to go to town and get a few things we needed while we waited for it to stop raining.

When we got to Home Depot we got the paint mixing, grabbed rollers etc and then the Spirit said to go by the flooring. There was a beautiful tile sitting at the end that was on clearance for 50 cents a square foot. Perfect for bathroom flooring. We were able to save 80% off regular price for bathroom flooring.

A few months ago we were looking at tiles in Albuquerque. I looked at the same type of tile and thought it would be beautiful in our home but I wrote it off as too expensive and thought it could never happen. Oh ye of little faith…nothing is impossible with God.

Exodus 3:10

10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Do I listen when the Spirit says to go?

Do I know the Spirit’s voice?

Do I follow His instructions?

Heavenly Father, thank you for the rain. Thank you for the trials today and the blessings. Thank you for the double rainbow and for your daily bread. I know you are real and I know you exist. I know that you love us.

I know that your son will be back soon. I know that the signs of the times show we must be ready at any time. Whether it be in one month or in 70 years. You do what you say you will do.

My God, my King, please touch the hearts of those I love. I want them to see your love. To know your mercy and feel your presence. Not for the physical blessings you give, which you do, but because living without you is death. I was not alive until you were in my heart and my soul.

We need to know your voice. We need to know your voice so that we know how to love you and so we may know how to answer our enemies when the time comes. Please have mercy on us and prepare us. Moses had little faith but when the time came you gave him the strength and he had no need to lean on Aaron. Thank you for being there when we need you. For all that you do and all that you are I thank you. In Jesus name amen.

I watched a movie the other day with my husband. It was about an old man who went to war in World War 2. He is traveling to a reunion and he ends up on a German bus talking to the enemy. At the end of their conversation the enemy says and I’m paraphrasing “imagine realizing that you were fighting on the side of evil”.

It hit me hard and I couldn’t help but cry. Imagine realizing at the end of it all that you fought for the enemy…that your intent was for good but you were deceived. That pursuing what you were told was right was actually furthering the work of evil. It would be devastating. To invest everything you are including the lives of those you loved in something meant to steal, kill and destroy.

1 Timothy 1:2

2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

Why should we pray for our enemies?

Why should we pray for our children?

Do grace, mercy and peace work together?

Heavenly Father, Zion has been on my mind lately. Please help me to treat my body as a sacred place, holy and accountable to you. Please give us discernment to recognize evil from your light. Thank you for giving us the story of Paul who was a blasphemer, who persecuted and injured your people. You counted him faithful and gave him the responsibility of ministering to others. You gave him mercy because he did evil ignorantly in his unbelief. You gave Paul your abundant grace with faith and love which can only be found in your son. I love Paul’s words that he quoted, “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”. Paul said he was chief of the sinners and you saved him. Thank you for giving us an example so those who came after would believe that they could have life everlasting. I pray for those who are deceived, please help them to forgive and move towards you. Toward you, the King, eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen

At work we talked about the lack of work ethic we see today. How hard it is to get people to show up for work, or to be responsible, or communicate.

My little ones like to watch Bible man, Superbook, or the tomato shows on tv. Yippee is also a favorite. At some point we will inevitably get sick or unable to make it to church and we will have our daily bread at home.

The kids will turn on YouTube Christian music and we will dance and praise the Lord. They wake up and say Goodmorning to God and when they go to sleep they ask for protection and pray for those they love. We are working on good routines and preparing them for what this world brings. Building their faith now because they need it now, they will need it later but they also need it right now.

One day my children will need to go to work. I pray they will work hard, and love one another as they love themselves. That they will collaborate with and motivate others. That they will also shake the dust off their feet of those that choose evil and not allow others to draw them to do that which is wrong.

John 14:22-27

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Do I have a Bible?

Do I accept one of the greatest gifts ever given?

Do I read the greatest love letter ever written?

Heavenly Father in your word it says to raise our children in the way they should go. Our children are bombarded by a culture and a world that prioritizes loving yourself, and loving money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedience to parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, full of conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than of you, having the appearance of godliness but denying its power. Please help our children to walk in the Spirit. To continue in the things which they have learned and have been assured of, knowing we have learned it from you.

As children we learn your holy scripture which you tell us is able to make us wise and directs us to salvation through faith which is in your son. May we always learn and remain in your son.

I am so thankful that your scripture is given by your inspiration. It is awe-inspiring to me that it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That you give the man of God the opportunity to be perfect, thoroughly furnished and directing us to all good works. Thank you for this gift. May we follow your words to your glory. In Jesus name amen.

2 Timothy 3:1-5, 14-17 (prayer)

I would walk into my great grandmother’s house when I was little and hear the “thwap” of the wood from her loom. Her house smelled of wool and slightly like wood smoke. She carded wool that came from her sheep and ran it on a spindle until it was the exact width she needed. She would have me hold my arms up and she would wrap the wool around my arms in a figure eight. My arms would get tired and slowly start to fall. She would lightly whack me and I would lift my arms back up.

One day she had finished a batch of rugs and we went to the trading post to sell them. She came back out to the truck and still had the rugs in her arms. She said they wouldn’t pay her what they used to. She only spoke Navajo but I knew what she said because I had the ears to hear at the time. I remember thinking about the work she put into it and wished I could buy it from her instead. She took them back later and sold them for the price they were willing to pay.

1 John 1:1-2

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

Do I know His works?

Do I follow His example?

Was Jesus there at the beginning of it all?

Heavenly Father you have shown us how to work hard through the hands of the one we love. Hands that bled, ached and fell limp. Hands that worked hard to learn a trade, held his mother close and allowed nails to be driven through them. He gave us a physical example of his love for you and gave his life for us. He is a good shepherd who knows his sheep. I am grateful to know him and his voice. Thank you for giving us an example that we can follow and eternal life so that we may never perish. Heavenly Father, you gave me to him and no one is greater than you so I shall never be plucked from your hands because you and your son are one. Please help me to care for others and to show them love. I do not know their stories but I know you love them. Please help me to share your love through my actions. Thank you for answering my questions and my prayers. For your glory we will never stray. In Jesus name amen.

John 10:14-30 (prayer)

I was supposed to start vacation yesterday but because I was sick last week I felt like I had to go into work Monday morning. I did most of what I needed to do and it, of course, took longer than I expected. It was around 12 when I was trying to decide what I could leave undone. The Spirit said finish it all, there is a reason why you need to finish. There is also an emphasis on quality of work lately.

I agreed and got ahold of my husband to let him know I would be done later than planned. If he wanted to pick me up later we could go to lunch with the kids. He took a while to pick me up and I had exactly the amount of time needed to get everything done.

We went to a restaurant we never go to at a time we don’t usually go to lunch and I ran into a friend that is so dear to me. She has the ability to light up a room and make you laugh even after 30 years. I was blessed immensely yesterday. God is so good.

1 Corinthians 3:17

17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Is my body God’s temple?

Do I use my temple in a way that honors God?

How do I give sacrifices to the Lord?

Heavenly Father hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Please give us today our daily bread. Please forgive us our sins as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Please help us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and presentable to you. You made a covenant with Abraham and asked him to sacrifice his son. You spared his son while testing Abraham’s obedience. He was rewarded greatly for his courage. You gave us your son instead as a sacrifice for our sins. I can never repay that gift but I will spend my life giving you sacrifices. For it is your kingdom, your power and your glory forever. In Jesus name amen.

I woke up this morning right after I had a nightmare. Do you ever have those? Where the person you trust most betrays you? Or the world as you know it ends?

I had woken up a couple hours earlier and fallen back asleep. When I woke up the first time the Spirit said “resist the devil and he will flee from you”. I agreed and went back to sleep.

After I woke up the second time when I was feeling betrayed and upset I remembered what I had been told a couple of hours earlier and I focused on the music playing in my head “Rock of Ages Cleft For Me”.

When we are wronged or those we love are abused we ache for justice and we seek vengeance. Even if it was only a dream, even if only for a short time. Vengeance is the Lord’s and rightly so. If it went off my dreams, or my perspective and what the enemy comes up with I would be no better than the darkness of this world.

Psalms 72:1-4 JB

1 God, give your own justice to the king, your own righteousness to the royal son,
2 so that he may rule your people rightly and your poor with justice.
3 Let the mountains and hills bring a message of peace for the people.
4 he will defend the poorest, he will save the children of those in need, and crush their oppressors.

Does God know what He’s doing?

Does God give each of us different gifts?

Do we need to learn first before we can teach?

Heavenly Father, there’s a man that I would see every so often at work. He walks tall but with humility, he stands like he’s on a rock, he wears wisdom and integrity like a handkerchief that is meant for usefulness and not for show. I found out last year that he is your man. Thank you for the gifts you give. It took time and walking with you for me to learn and recognize what was righteous and godly.

You are just and righteous and called man to live with integrity, humility and a deep commitment to your will. To be strong, courageous, loving and responsible leaders. To choose to make a different choice than Adam made.

You are just and righteous and called women to have faith, to have kindness and tolerance in judging others, and to maintain a state of mental and spiritual alertness. To choose to make a different choice than Eve made.

I pray Lord that we choose to put our faith in you and to live up to the potential you gave us. That we do what you have called us to do. To love each other and build one another up. To hold ourselves, each other and the church accountable. We must not sugar coat the truth but we don’t need to put off others from seeking you either. Help us Lord to seek the Spirit’s guidance at all times. Thank you for holding us accountable. For your glory and praise, for your kingdom which is at hand. In Jesus name amen.

1 Timothy 2:11-12

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

I was painting some fence posts on Saturday and I clicked on a song on my phone that I haven’t listened to in a while. As I was listening to this song which is very catchy but not necessarily a Christian song the Spirit pointed out a piece of the lyrics to me. It was such a comfort because it was so pointed and enough to bring me to my knees. I had to stop and give Him gratitude for His love. The lyric was “I like your soul”.

Psalm 137:1-6

1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
4 How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land?
5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

If I were in a strange land remembering where I used to be and the ones that took me captive required that I sing a song and those that killed my friends and family required that I be happy about it…

Would I be able to sing the Lord’s song?

Would I forget the peace He offers instead of the physical comforts of home?

Do I forget to praise the Lord in the fire?

Heavenly Father I will praise you with my whole heart before other gods will I sing praise to you. I will worship towards your holy temple and praise your loving kindness and for your truth. You have magnified your word above all your name. When I cry you answer me and strengthen me with strength in my soul. All the kings of the earth will praise you when they hear the words of your mouth. They shall sing in your ways for great is your glory! You are high but you have respect to the lowly and the proud you see from far away. I will walk in the middle of trouble and I will want to give up but you will revive me. You will stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies and your right hand will save me. You perfect that which concerns me. Your mercy endures forever! Forsake not the works of your hands. I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works and that my soul knoweth right well. In Jesus name amen.
