MJB Foundation Sharing our Joy with children with challenges The MJB Foundation supports children, (primarily in Central Ohio) with challenges by sharing gifts of Joy i.e.

adaptive equipment like wheelchairs, tricycles, and iPads and sponsoring recreational and educational activities, like The Miracle League of Central Ohio. Our process is really simple. Ordinarily folks find out what kind of agency (medicaid, etc...) aid they are eligible for when purchasing their adaptive equipment, (This way nobody gets off the hook for paying what they should) and then we fund the balance. Sometimes we hear from folks who have no other funding source and then we pick up the balance, i.e. the entire bill. All we need at that point is a name to put on the check, and an address to send it to. I have an unfailing belief in the human spirit and we have not been burned yet. I also Hate bureaucracy and try to avoid unnecessary steps and paperwork whenever possible. In the case of The MJB Foundation, I'm in charge so it's always possible. Through these Gifts of Joy we work to honor and grow the legacy of our little girl. The only thing we ask of the recipients is that they send us a picture whenever possible of them with their gift so we can use that to continue to raise more funds.

A Monday spent catching up at the MJB Foundation after an incredibly busy, and FUN week.

💫 Last Wednesday we were fortunate to be able to gift Deshyne with an iPad and case.

⛳️ Saturday we had a terrific time playing in Bridgeway - Academy's annual golf scramble supporting their summer program.

🏎️ On Sunday we traveled to Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati to watch our friends at Elwood Motorsport Team LLC bring home the victory. This is the second year they’ve gifted us a sponsorship spot on their kart and we are grateful for the opportunity!

Great fun! Great times! Great friends! Terrific weekend! Who could ask for anything more?

Last weekend you all helped us raise over $6,600 for children with challenges! We can’t begin to tell you how grateful we are for your support in honoring Meghan Joy’s legacy 💫

Next year we will be celebrating the 30th Golf for Joy! We hope to make it our biggest one yet, so mark your calendars for June 26, 2027 🥳

Pickaway also let us know this week that we can extend the golfer registration even further 😳 the new deadline is June 24th! You have some extra time to sign yourself up or recruit a friend or two to come play with you 🏌🏻
