All-time records don't stand for long at Barnegat Lighthouse, where people are always pushing the envelope! Meet the new eldest male climber to beat, birthday boy Anthony Travisano. Anthony was born August 21, 1934, making him NINETY-TWO today!

First thing this morning, when you were just having your second cup of coffee, Anthony climbed Old Barney with adult children Anthony Jr, Theresa, Paul, and Gail, brother Robert, nephew Bruce and niece Margaret, and grandchildren Matthew, Nick and Chelsea. Anthony is from Sayreville and has vacationed at his home in Brighton Beach for more than 30 years.

NINETY-TWO! Our eldest female climber this year is 88, and our eldest couple (combined ages) are 91 and 85. Setting the bar!

Happy birthday Anthony!

🎥 A look back at the 2nd Biennial Mid-Atlantic Intergenerational Conference: Intergenerational Approaches for Living, Learning & Growing, held June 3–5, 2026, at Stockton University in Atlantic City, New Jersey!

Hosted by the Stockton Center on Successful Aging in partnership with Penn State University, the conference brought together colleagues, community leaders, educators, advocates, and innovators from across the region to share ideas and explore new ways to strengthen connections across generations.

From inspiring keynote conversations and intergenerational music to workshops, site visits, design innovation, and meaningful conversations, the conference celebrated what’s possible when we create opportunities for people of all ages to learn, grow, connect, and thrive together💙

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their ideas, and helped make this celebration of intergenerational connection so memorable!

A special thank you to Matt De Pompo from Stockton’s Production Services, Fionna Janson and Kerstin Maguire from SCOSA, and Kenna Embree from Vincentian for their time, creativity, and assistance in bringing this video together. And thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and talents to making the conference a success!

Stay tuned for information on the 2028 Conference! 🎉
