THIS IS ONLY AN EXERCISE!!!!!
The Gallia County LEPC/EMA in conjunction with the Rio Grande Fire Department will be conducting their Annual Hazardous Material Exercise Saturday April 18, 2026 in and around the Rio Grande area from 10am until approx. 1pm. There will be multiple emergency vehicles in the area. Please use caution in and around this area. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Gallia County will be participating in the statewide tornado drill tomorrow March 18th at 9:50 am weather permitting. The tornado sirens in the Village of Rio Grande and Buckeye Hills Career Center will be activated as well as a test of the Gallia County Notification System (CODE RED). This is just a drill!!
