Since 2003, Volunteer Equine Advocates has worked to rescue, rehabilitate, and advocate for abused, neglected, and abandoned equines across Middle Tennessee. What began with a single cruelty case in Sumner County has grown into a mission that has helped more than 1,600 equines find safety, care, and second chances.
Every day, our volunteers work hard to provide the best possible care for the horses at our rescue. One simple way we can improve their lives—and make daily care more efficient—is by upgrading our watering system.
We’re raising funds for freeze-proof, low-maintenance automatic waterers that provide fresh, clean water on demand. These systems will save countless volunteer hours spent scrubbing and maintaining water troughs, especially during the summer months, while ensuring our horses always have access to clean water.
