THIS happened!!

I'm so excited to announce that Tennessee Respite Coalition is taking over my nonprofit, Touch, Inc.!! They will be able to reach and help far many more caregivers than I ever could.

In 2009 I founded Touch in the memory of my late husband, Kenny Buttrey, in order to provide care to recently bereaved caregivers by sending them to the spa for a day to receive Touch therapy and other services including a dinner out afterwards so THEY could receive some much needed care through the healing gift of Touch!

For all the support I received from those who helped Touch go from dream to reality, I'd like to acknowledge and thank some very important friends without whom Touch never would've happened.

This morning from 9:00 - 10:00 AM Central time, Touch Board Director, Faith Mayton will be interviewing our very first Touch recipient, Teresa Rose on Faith's blog talk radio show, Fridays with Faith. Touch gave Teresa her spa day as Touch was still in the planning stages and Teresa's service helped pave the way for the caregiver services we currently offer. Her story is amazing and touching.
