💛 These children are learning how to grow their own food — and their own future.
But they can’t do it alone

In rural Uganda, farming is more than work — it’s a way of life.

At King’s Kids Homes, the children are learning the value of planting, nurturing, and harvesting together. Through these simple but meaningful tasks, they’re gaining important life skills like responsibility, teamwork, patience, and pride in their work. 🌽🌱

Each ear of corn they gather represents more than a harvest — it represents growing confidence, learning to care for one another, and preparing for a bright and hopeful future. 💛

👉 “Every one of these homes represents children who finally have a safe place to sleep

Sometimes we forget how powerful something as simple as a roof can be.

For many of the children at King’s Kids Africa, home once meant uncertainty —
sleeping wherever they could, without safety, stability, or protection.

But today, these homes stand as a beautiful reminder of what love in action can do.

Because of faithful supporters, these children now have a place to sleep peacefully, to study, to laugh, and to simply be kids again.

Seeing my mom standing there with them in front of one of these homes is a reminder of how much this mission means to our family and to the children whose lives are being changed every day.

A roof over their heads means:

Behind every child at King’s Kids Africa… there are people who chose to love them like family.

The children here have two very special people they call Mama Nancie and Papa Chuck. ❤️

My parents have poured their hearts into these children for years. What started as simply wanting to help has grown into something much bigger — a family for children who have lost so much.

They show up with open arms, listening ears, and hearts that refuse to look away from need. And the kids feel it. That’s why they don’t just see them as visitors… they see them as family.

Dan lost both of his parents to HIV/AIDS and was sent to live with his grandmother. She loved him deeply and cared for him the best she could. But as her health began to fail, she realized she could no longer provide the care Dan needed.

In an act of love and courage, she asked if Dan could be placed under the care of King’s Kids Africa, hoping he would have a chance at a better future.

Today, Dan is safe and cared for — but he still needs someone to stand beside him and believe in his future.

Dan is currently waiting for a sponsor.
