Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica on October 28, 2025, leaving widespread devastation in its path. Homes were damaged, roads flooded, power is out in many areas, and communities are struggling to access basic necessities. The storm caused life-threatening storm surge, torrential rain, and flash flooding across the island.
We’ve heard from one of our ministry partners on the ground:
“Thanks for your prayers and continue. We have much damage, but praise God, we are still alive. It was very bad.”
While we are grateful this partner is safe, others are still unreachable due to power and communication outages. Please continue to pray for all of our partners and the communities they serve, asking for safety, provision, and peace as they assess the damage.
There are ways you can help bring hope to those impacted:
PRAY for safety, provision, and peace for families affected.
GIVE to provide essentials like food, water, shelter, and medical supplies.
GO by joining a mission trip in the spring or summer to help rebuild and serve.
