We truly appreciate this grant Nashville Predators Foundation! Can wait to use these funds for our food pantry to support our patients’ health.

Friends at Highpoint Health - Sumner are honored to receive a Predators Foundation Helper Grant for $1,500! Friends are our volunteers at Highpoint Health locations in Gallatin. On top of helping with everyday processes of the hospital, they host a variety of fundraisers to support patient and community projects. This grant will go directly to our food pantry for patients and families.

Come shop at Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas as Friends host Tri State Book Fairs for a Book & Gift Sale on March 19th & 20th! Tri State Book Fairs will have some amazing spring items along with great ideas for those Easter Baskets! They accept cash, debit, & all major credit cards. Plus, a portion of the sales help benefit our patient focused projects!

The Friends of Sumner Regional Medical Center was awarded an Annual Grant in 2023 to help fund their "Swaddle Me" Program. "The goal of the "Swaddle Me" Program is to prevent infant deaths from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), and provide education to caregivers regarding SUIDS (Sudden Unexplained Infant Death Syndrome)." - Lisa Estes, Board Member at Large

We are pleased to announce the start of The Cuddler Program at Sumner Regional Medical Center. The Cuddler Program is designed to provide support and ease the journey of families with special care needs, making the transition home a little easier.
It is a volunteer-based service that connects volunteer Cuddlers with eligible newborns to hold and comfort them when parents aren’t able to be at the hospital. The Cuddlers provide tailored stimulation, like rocking or singing, based on the baby's developmental needs. To learn more and become a Cuddler visit mysumnermedical.com/volunteer-program

Friends of Sumner Regional Medical Center, Inc. is extremely excited to receive a grant award for $2,500 from The Rosendin Foundation! This grant will be used to fully fund our “Swaddle Me” program, allowing SRMC to provide swaddle sleep sacks for all babies born at our hospital. With this award, we will also be able to provide education on infant safety to parents and caregivers in our local communities.

From Friends of Sumner Regional, our Women's Services Unit, and the whole hospital, we would like to thank you for awarding us this grant to help us continue our mission of making communities healthier.

Friends of SRMC needs your help to fill our Food Pantry and Clothes Closet!

We are completely out of food and need your donation to continue to make Food Bags for our patients. The Food Pantry was established so that patients wouldn’t have to decide between paying for their medication or food after discharge. The bags contain 3 nutritious meals for 3 days. As of November 1st, we have given over 135 food bags this year helping over 330 family members. For the clothes closet, we have given several pieces of clothing out to patients who had lost their homes due to fires, leaving a domestic situation, or needed rehab and had no one to bring them any clothes.
