Troops 407 and 4007 held their Winter Court of Honor. Troop 4007 celebrated 9 rank advancements and 63 merit badges. Way to go Scouts!

Please join Troops 407 and 4007 this Sunday before the big game. Enjoy a delicious spaghetti lunch. We’ll be serving from 11:30-1:30 in Ramsey Hall of Gallatin First United Methodist Church. In a hurry, no problem! You can grab your lunch to go too. We’ll be serving spaghetti, alfredo, salad, and assorted desserts. No entry price but donations are appreciated. Please join us and support these incredible scouts.

The Scouts of 4007 stayed busy over winter break. The scouts marched in the Gallatin Christmas Parade, 10 scouts attended Winter Camp, 3 scouts staffed Winter Camp, and 4 scouts earned their Brotherhood in OA. There’s no stopping these girls!

Troop 4007 is proud to announce our first Eagle Scout! Raegan Alexander, a founding member of 4007, serves as the troop SPL and is a member of the OA. She expanded her school’s playground to add a gaga ball pit, bench, and tree for the middle schoolers to use. We are proud of her diligence and look forward to her future endeavors in scouting. Congratulations Raegan!🦅

The Scouts had a great time serving at the Gallatin First United Methodist Church Men’s Club annual ham breakfast. These Scouts were the epitome of “Cheerful Service,” even at 6:00am.

It’s Fall Y’all and 4007 is loving the change in seasons. The scouts celebrated the beautiful fall weather with a fun hayride and a warm fire to roast hot dogs and s’mores over. 🍁

Thank you Gallatin Fire Department for allowing our scouts to visit. We had an informative tour and worked toward our fire safety merit badge.

The Scouts worked for two weeks on the Radio merit badge, leading up to our Jamboree on the Air campout. They had so much fun connecting with other scouts over the radio from all over the country. The farthest they reached was Norway!
