Aspen Terrace residents came together on September 27th for our annual Good Neighbor Day event. We enjoy a delicious brunch while also supporting the Galion Fraternal Order of Police. In total we collected $815 and over 135 pounds of toiletry items. See the thank you that was posted on the Galion Police Department’s page:

The Galion Fraternal Order of Police Lodge would like to sincerely thank the Aspen Terrace Community for their incredible generosity during their annual Good Neighbor Day!

Together, they collected nearly 135 pounds of toiletries and raised over $800 in donations to support the lodge. These contributions directly support the programs we sponsor in the community.

If you or someone you know is in need of basic toiletries, they’re available free of charge in the lobby of the Galion Police Department.

We’re grateful for your continued support and community spirit!

ATTENTION ASPEN TERRACE RESIDENTS:

The Aspen Association Quarterly Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 5pm in the clubhouse. Residents should make plans to attend if possible.

Expansion Update: The Board has met with and will continue regular meetings with the representatives from 89 Homes. A contract is under development as well as discussions regarding many other preliminary details. The Board will keep you updated as details are established.

Upcoming Aspen Resident Community Event: March 17th at 5:30pm we will have a Baked Potato Bar with all the fixings, salad and dessert! Plus: Bingo games with prizes!!
Wear your green, bring your bingo $$ (50 cents a card) and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your neighbors!

Sanitation Company and Schedule Change: The Board has changed sanitation companies for Aspen trash removal. The last Rumpke pick up will be on Thursday, 2/27. Kurtzman Sanitation will pick up on Tuesday, 3/4. Beginning that date, pick up will be on Tuesdays between 8am and noon. Note: there will be a trash receptacle at the clubhouse for resident use when utilizing the clubhouse for an event. This receptacle will be picked up during Kurtzman’s regular pick up here at Aspen.

This morning, we celebrated “Good Neighbor Day” at Aspen Terrace with a delicious brunch and wonderful neighbors! We asked our residents to donate food and/or money for the St Paul United Methodist Church Food Pantry as a way to be good neighbors to those outside of the Aspen community. Our generous residents really came through! In addition, we set up a greeting card station where residents could sign or address cards to those they appreciate or are thinking of.
