A huge thank you to Angie Hoffman for organizing the Bingo Bar Crawl this weekend to raise money donated to the Pink Ladies! It was a success and there was a lot of community involvement! Thank you all for your continued support!

This is my annual “Wow! Thank you ALL!” post. Please, bear with me.

Today was our Pink Ladies of the Galion Owls Club Annual Golf Outing. I will have to pull records to confirm, but I believe this is our 8 or 9th year. This is the 3rd year that it has been titled The Candy France Memorial. (We miss you every day, Girl!)

Every year I am amazed. We (The Pink Ladies) pour ourselves into our fundraising events. We want it to not only raise the much needed funds that allow us to continue to help our fellow residents fighting this terrible disease of cancer, but we want to bring the community together. We want it to be a time of unity that supports not only our cause, but one another and everyone we represent. We are proud of what we do. We love what we do! We wish we didn’t have to. 🥲

We sincerely wish not one single person would be diagnosed with this. We sincerely wish not one friend or family had to worry and become heart sick with that news. We sincerely wish NO ONE would ever lose that fight.

But, we are here. We may not know you. We may never meet, but we are here for you. We lift you up in our thoughts and prayers and are your silent cheerleaders standing with you in your fight.

Today was a day of joy and fun. We came together as a community to further this cause.

Thank you. EACH and EVERY one of you. You are what makes it possible for us to accomplish our goals and to continue to serve.

What we are up to today?

Several of us rode in a float today in the Memorial Day celebration in Galion! We are honored to be asked to join in this celebration.

While the Pink Ladies of the Galion Owls Club’s primary focus is providing financial assistance to area residents that are fighting a cancer diagnosis, we love to show our support for other causes and events.
