Global Bhutanese Hindu Organization Global Bhutanese Hindu Organization(GBHO) is officially tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3)(Non-Profit) of the Internal Revenue Code .

Every individual born on earth unmistakably bears unconditional high regards for his/her own mother tongue, literature, religion, art ,and culture. We are American of Bhutanese origin. We are a society of rich and developed native language, literature, religion and culture. We belong to the ancient Vedic Hindu Dharma. Under the auspicious of American laws, we have been enjoying the freedom to practice our religious practices such as prayers, pujas, rituals involving birth or death and the likes. We understand that right to religion comes under fundamental rights. Individuals who do not inherit cultural and religious values from their ancestors find it difficult to define their very own existences. The backdrop of our history is intricately linked to the language we speak, religion we follow, and cultural values that we derive pride from. Our existence is assured only if we work adequately on preserving our religion, values and culture. Appreciating the need to act to preserve and protect our cultural and religious heritages, the Bhutanese Vedic Hindu practitioners have embarked on a journey for the same. We have focused on embedding the Vedic Hindu values in our lifestyle which we believe will consequently help preserve and protect our norms and values through this organization.

GBHO Board, Founding Members, & Lifetime Members’ Meeting at Om Center Divya Dham

October 10, 2026: The Global Bhutanese Hindu Organization (GBHO) extended its heartfelt gratitude to all Board of Directors, Founding Members, Founding Benefactor Members, Honorary Members, Lifetime Members, and the entire GBHO family for making the Annual Meeting meaningful and successful through both in-person and virtual participation.

Your valuable insights, constructive suggestions, and continued love and support are the foundation of our shared mission.

The meeting marked an important step forward with the formation of three committees: Ad Hoc Committee, Om Center Divya Dham Management Committee, and Resource Management Committee to strengthen member engagement, organizational governance, resource mobilization, and the sustainable development of GBHO and Om Center Divya Dham.

As we navigate challenges and embrace new opportunities, let us move forward with unity, transparency, accountability, and collective leadership. GBHO is more than an organization, it is our shared responsibility and sacred commitment to preserving Sanatan Dharma, our heritage, culture, and values while serving our community and future generations.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we can overcome challenges and build a brighter future for GBHO and Om Center Divya Dham, a sacred center of worship, spirituality, learning, and community service.

सनातन हिन्दू धर्ममा गौमाताको महत्व

सनातन हिन्दू धर्ममा गौमातालाई अत्यन्त पवित्र, पूजनीय र मातृस्वरूप मानिन्छ। वेद, पुराण र स्मृतिहरूमा गाईलाई सम्पूर्ण देवताहरूको वासस्थान तथा धर्म, समृद्धि र करुणाको प्रतीकका रूपमा वर्णन गरिएको छ। गाईले मानव जीवनलाई दूध, दही, घ्यू, गोबर र गोमूत्र जस्ता अमूल्य वस्तुहरू प्रदान गर्ने भएकाले यसलाई “गौमाता” भनिएको हो।

हाम्रा दैनिक धार्मिक कर्म, पूजा, यज्ञ, हवन, संस्कार तथा विभिन्न व्रत–तिथिहरूमा गौजन्य पदार्थहरूको विशेष महत्व छ। पञ्चगव्य (दूध, दही, घ्यू, गोबर र गोमूत्र) शुद्धिकरण तथा धार्मिक अनुष्ठानमा प्रयोग गरिन्छ। यज्ञमा प्रयोग हुने घ्यूलाई अत्यन्त पवित्र मानिन्छ। गोबरले भूमि तथा वातावरण शुद्ध बनाउने विश्वास छ।

गाईको सेवा (गौसेवा), पूजा र दानलाई पुण्यदायी कार्य मानिन्छ। गौ तृतीया, गाई तिहार, गोकुलाष्टमी, श्राद्ध तथा अन्य अनेक धार्मिक अवसरहरूमा गाईको विशेष पूजा गरिन्छ। शास्त्रहरूमा गौसेवाले धर्म, अर्थ, काम र मोक्ष प्राप्तिमा सहयोग पुग्ने विश्वास व्यक्त गरिएको छ।

आजको समयमा पनि गौमाताको संरक्षण र संवर्द्धन केवल धार्मिक आस्था मात्र नभई संस्कृति, कृषि, वातावरण र मानवीय करुणासँग जोडिएको महान कार्य भएको हुदा विश्व भुटानी हिन्दु संगठनले गौशालाको स्थापना गरेको हो । किन कि सनातन हिन्दू परम्परामा गौमातालाई सम्मान, सेवा र संरक्षण गर्नु प्रत्येक हिन्दूको कर्तव्य मानिन्छ। अहिलेको सन्दर्भमा कृपया यो तल राखिएको भिडीयो हेर्नु होला ।
