Good morning. By now you have probably received a post card from WOTM International saying the general purpose meeting will be held at the Galeton Moose Lodge on April 14th, 2022 at 6:30. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the closing of the WOTM Chapter 556. This is happening because of a decline of active members. Beginning with the Covid-19 and not having in person meetings for so long, the interest has seemed to fade and we are not getting members to attend meetings or wanting to be involved. Every member is encouraged and welcomed to attend this meeting and give your thoughts. Even if the chapter closes, because we are “One Moose” now, you will still be a member of the lodge, as long as your dues are active as of the closing, and can still attend the Lodge meetings and we can still hold our fundraisers like the children’s Christmas party and Turkey raffle, or any other kind of event we would choose to do. So that being said we hope to see you at the April 14th meeting. Have a great day!

Charlene Goodreau
Treasurer.

Much thanks to Santa (he did an awesome job and the kids loved him), our Magician - Mr Paul Antonio, ( the kids loved him too- very magical!), and to all who helped from start to finish! We did this a couple years ago and it was a great time!

Hi ladies. We are starting back up with putting on some of our dinners that we haven’t had in the last year. This Sunday 4/11/2021, our lodge will be hosting the district meeting and and the following Tuesday (4/13) the annual state police dinner is being served. We need some desserts for both of these dinners. If you could make (or buy) something and have it to the moose by Saturday (10th) night it would be greatly appreciated. We will be scheduling more activities as time goes on and get back to being our moose once again. If you can help out with the desserts, please comment with a yes. Thanks again for your support!
