Prevention Specialists Jovanie Vega and Kelly Dodd represented Bridgeway at the yearly Monmouth College Freshman Walk Out last week. They handed out 276 Resource Guides and Bridgeway swag to all the new students! Local businesses line up on the streets to welcome new students to the college by providing them with treats, school supplies, and resources.

Recovery is something to be proud of — and it deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

Join West Central Illinois ROSC to walk down Main Street, Recover Out Loud, and show our community that recovery is possible. 💜

Whether you’re in recovery, supporting someone who is, have been impacted by substance use, or simply believe in building a community where everyone has the opportunity to heal and thrive — there’s a place for you in this walk.

Join us for the 2026 Discover Wellness Summit at Carl Sandburg College on September 25 from 7:00 am - 1:30 p.m. We have a day full of wellness topics ranging from dealing with anxiety and burnout to self-care and nutrition. We have TWO Art Therapy sessions this year as well! We also have two wonderful Keynote Speakers and a Wellness Fair.

The event is FREE to attend and attendees will go home with new wellness strategies, a free t-shirt, and much more.
