Pass it on——We met with the Knox County’s FISH of Galesburg Food Pantry recently. We learned a lot. They serve ALL of Knox County, not just Galesburg as the name implies. The city is hosting a city wide food drive June 12 from 7a-6p to benefit FISH of Galesburg Food Pantry. Check out the link for items they can use.

Two departments coming together to make their communities safer. The Maquon Fire Protection District and the Knoxville Community Fire Protection District are joining forces to respond together on all fire calls, major vehicle accidents involving rescue and/or extrication, and mass casualty incidents.

This partnership is being implemented to help address low daytime manpower and to ensure both communities continue receiving the quickest and safest emergency response possible. By working together, both departments can provide additional personnel, equipment, and support when it matters most.
