Your voice is your power! 📢 Day 6 of our Genocost campaign is all about Taking Local Action. Advocacy might sound like a big word, but it simply means speaking up for what matters.

You can influence policy for Congo by:
📍 Calling your local representatives to share your concerns.
📍 Sending a respectful email about the human rights situation.
📍 Attending town hall meetings to ask questions.

When we speak together, we cannot be ignored. Let’s make sure Congo stays on the agenda! 🇨🇩💙

Every child deserves a desk and a clean glass of water. 💧📚

On Day 4 of our 15-day Genocost campaign, we are highlighting the Rights to Water and Education. In many parts of Congo, conflict disrupts these basic human rights, making it difficult for children to attend school or access safe drinking water. These aren't luxuries; they are foundations for a better life. We stand together to advocate for a future where these rights are protected for everyone.

En ce 4ème jour de notre campagne Genocost de 15 jours, nous mettons l'accent sur les droits à l'eau et à l'éducation. Dans de nombreuses régions du Congo, les conflits perturbent ces droits humains fondamentaux, empêchant les enfants d'aller à l'école ou d'accéder à l'eau potable. Ce ne sont pas des luxes ; ce sont les bases d'une vie meilleure. Nous restons unis pour plaider en faveur d'un avenir où ces droits sont protégés pour tous.

Day 3: Supporting our mothers, daughters, and families. 💙🌹

In the face of conflict, women and families often carry the heaviest burdens. Yet, their resilience is the foundation of our community. Today, we honor the strength of the women who keep hope alive and the families who continue to build a future against all odds.

When we support a woman, we uplift an entire generation. Together, we are building new lives and creating a path toward healing and opportunity. Love and Peace. 🕊️

We’re standing with Rep. Sonya Harper to put equity into action! ✊🏾 At Lipanda Foundation, we believe in building systems that work for everyone, especially our African-American and immigrant neighbors.

Supporting HB 4286 and HB 5300 means fighting for cannabis equity and fresh food access. 🍎🌱 It’s about our health, dignity, and future. As Rep. Harper says: "Together, these bills are about building systems that work for everyone... laying the foundation for healthier, more equitable communities."

While these connect the world, their extraction has fueled years of conflict in the DRC. 💔 By learning where our tech comes from, we honor the lives affected by this economic genocide. Let’s stand for justice together!

What is Genocost? It stands for "Genocide for Economic Cost." It is the systematic killing and exploitation of people in the DR Congo for control over natural resources like coltan and cobalt. It’s an economic genocide. We believe awareness is the first step toward change. 🕊️

Qu'est-ce que le Genocost ? Cela signifie « Génocide pour des raisons économiques ». Il s'agit du meurtre et de l'exploitation systématiques des populations en RD Congo pour le contrôle des ressources naturelles comme le coltan et le cobalt. C'est un génocide économique.
