There are people who leave quiet footprints in our lives… and then there are people like Janet — bold, beautiful, unforgettable. Losing her has left an ache we can’t put into words, a silence that echoes louder than we expected.
Janet was a wife, a mom, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother ,but to us, she was also the heart of our world. She had a way of showing love that was perfectly hers: tough when she needed to be, but endlessly giving in the ways that truly mattered. She could make you laugh even when your heart was heavy, make you a quilt that somehow carried warmth and comfort long before it touched your skin, and cook you a meal that fed more than just your body even if you said you weren’t hungry.
She wasn’t always the gentlest soul, but she was real, honest, and loyal in ways that count. She cared deeply, and her love though sometimes wrapped in sarcasm or sass was powerful, unwavering, and uniquely hers.
Janet is why this team exists. She’s the reason we walk, the reason we fight, and the reason we continue even when it's hard. Her strength became our strength, and now, we carry her memory with every step we take.
We miss her terribly. The world feels a little less bright without her laugh, her stories, her stubbornness, and her love. But we’ll keep going — for her, and because of her.
Thank you, Grandma, for everything. You’ll always be our reason, our anchor, and our forever "why."
