There are so many great reasons to volunteer with us at River Bend Food Bank, but Jeanie's reason is one of our favorites! When asked how she got involved, this is what she shared:

"I visit the pantry as a guest only sometimes when I really need the help. One day I was here and overhead a volunteer saying they were short staffed and needed help so I thought -- well I could give back! I've volunteered about 5 shifts now and I really enjoy all the people I work with."

Our volunteers are at the heart of what we do, and we are always SO HONORED by the gift of their time and talents. Thank you to Jeanie, and to all of the people who help make our mission possible!

A HUGE thank you to Western Smokehouse Partners, LLC for their $5000 donation to the Core Collective!

This partnership between River Bend Food Bank and 10 agency pantry partners allows us to work side-by-side to help raise funds to support people experiencing hunger.

Since we believe we are stronger together, this collaboration allows us make a bigger impact than we can do alone and we are SO grateful!
