Yesterday I took in 4 opies who were tube-fed & cared for by my coworker, Jess. They are eating and pooping on their own which is a big step towards them returning to the wild. Right now they are in my basement rehab space in line for the outdoor acclimation enclosure.

Opossum rehab is a lot of work. I get up at 5AM to clean, feed & water all the opies inside the house (2 bowls EACH because they like to defecate in water). Then come home from work & do it all over. As you can imagine, I go through a TON of dishes, paper towels, newspaper, dish liquid, etc.... yesterday I was excited to find these cute little fruit & leaf food dishes! 🍇
