Starting Wednesday, September 3rd, book sale prices are by bag 👜, not by item! Buy a Friends of Ledyard Library tote bag for $10 and fill the whole thing with as many books as you can carry. Or, bring your own FOLL tote and fill it for $5! Either way, a spectacular deal on secondhand books, and a great way to support your local library.

Calling all girls in 3rd–5th grade! 🎉 This is a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, friendships, healthy habits, and a whole lot of fun along the way!

We’re so proud of our current and former students who are leading the way in athletics, teamwork, dedication, and school spirit. Watching our students grow and continue to represent Ledyard is pretty special! 🥹👏

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS—you survived the first day of the 2026–2027 school year! 🐾📚

When those sweet kiddos walk through the door today, remember: give them a little transition time. 😂

They will tell you how their day went eventually…

Maybe. 😜

Feed them. Hug them. Let them breathe. ❤️

And then, once everyone has re-entered the atmosphere, make those kiddos unpack their backpacks so YOU can complete your grown-up homework—forms, papers, folders and all the things that are due no later than tomorrow-ish! 🤭

Because apparently, parents get homework too. 😉

Doors open at 8:25 AM, and our 🐾 staff will be there to welcome our newest students and help families navigate the drop-off process.
