Congrats Coach!

Please join us in welcoming our 2026 Peewee Head Coach Jim Geer! Born and raised in Ledyard, Jim played for Ledyard in elementary and middle school. In high school he played at NFA. He coaches to make positive influences on players and is always on the look out for players who are eager to play varying positions and learn the game!

🎥 Filmed at 6:30am on a Monday morning… and somehow by dinner time, we’re still recovering 😵‍💫

This morning’s highlights included:

🔑 One child “borrowing” the car keys to break into the garage
♦️ One child running a full-scale family hustle during an intense game of Hand & Foot
👀 And one child who is suspiciously… way too quiet

So naturally our question is: How do these kids wake up THIS early every day… and yet we are still sprinting to almost miss the bus?! 🚌💨

I guess it’s “Back to School” somewhere 😮‍💨🤯… and yet here in Ledyard Public Schools we’re still over here like ☀️🚌⌛️ with only 7 school days left until summer break ✌️😎

But whether you’re already shopping those back-to-school sales or fully embracing summer mode… we are loving this classroom “Gotcha” Post-it idea for when the new school year rolls around 🍎📚

Simple, fun, and such a sweet way to help students feel seen right from day one ❤️🐾🫶

We love Ledyard Public Library Cool-ology!!!

Seeds are bursting to life all over the state of Connecticut - are you curious about the elaborate science that goes on inside those tiny shells? The Ledyard Public Library is partnering with Cool-ology to bring us a STEAM Lab Adventure: Seeds Unleashed! Participants will learn all about the fascinating anatomy of seeds, explore how nature scatters them across the landscape, and plant their very own seeds in reusable containers to take home.

💧 Stay hydrated
🧢 Pack extra water for outdoor activities
🌳 Take shade breaks when possible

🛝 We also heard our friends Gallup Hill PTO had their Field Day postponed 🫠 We know you’re bummed but we’re glad you’re being safe!
