Cub Scout Pack 145-Galena, MD Official page of Galena, Maryland's Cub Scout Pack 145. A fun and character building program for boys ages 7-10 or grades 1 through 5.

Cub Scout Pack 145 is conveniently located near the crossroads of MD-213, 313 and 290 in Galena, MD. Our pack primarily serves boys from Galena and Millington, MD. We do camping trips, community service projects, skill building, and team building activities. The boys have a great time, and learn many valuable skills. If you purchased a neckerchief slider in 2018, please read this recall. If you have a recalled slider, and it's not convenient to take it to the scout store, please bring it to the next meeting, and I'll collect them, and exchange them at the scout store next time I stop by.

It's been a busy fall for the Cub Scouts! We just returned from Camp Rodney in North East, MD, where the scouts participated in building and launching rockets, rock wall climbing, learning adventures, archery, and camping in the rain!
-
We've also recently done local camping, the Cub-mobile race in Cambridge, MD, fundraising, hiking, and fishing. The scouts are having a great time, and learning tons of new skills.

At the last pack meeting, they boys spruced up the rusty basketball pole at the Olivet United Methodist Church, where we have our meetings. They all helped sand, clean, and paint the pole. The skills they learned building their pinewood derby cars sure came in handy and the basketball pole looks great!
