It's amazing the things we can learn if we just look around. Here's a reflection on what a season in the garden taught me about life.

Just because it worked once doesn’t mean it will work again. Take time to evaluate principles over the plan. One stays the same but the other can change.

This is a relational knowledge.

The kind you build in honest, ongoing conversation.
The kind you can't get from a book or a class.
Only by showing up and talking.

Here's what honest prayer sounds like:
"Father, I'm exhausted and I don't know how to do this."
"I'm grateful for this — I know it came from you."
"I'm angry and I don't understand it."
"This is what I actually want."
Those aren't irreverent prayers. Those are the prayers Jesus modeled in John 17.
You have permission to tell God about your day.
