Galax Hillbilly Dayz

Good morning Hillbillies and Ladies!

What a weekend! Don't know about y'all but we're still enjoying a "Hillbilly Hangover" of emotions from our biggest and best event yet.

We're searching for anyone having drone footage from our event they'd be willing to share, particularly showing crowd size.
Anyone interested please let us know.

Heres a little gossip overheard down by the hawg lot this morning. Seems a couple Hillbillies were heard saying that the "tentative" dates for Hillbilly Day'z next year is June 18th & 19th! Keep that quite, but you can tell ma, pa and the cusins!

Shine On!

First of all Happy Fathers Day to all our Hillbillies and cuzins!
What a GREAT weekend for our 3rd Galax Hillbilly Day'z!
Blessed with six out of six day'z with great weather and wonderful crowds!
This year we re-united with friends from previous years and met new friends having heard the news and came to see what it's all about.
A big shout out to the Town of Galax and all of its agencies, our Galax Merchants, our Vendors, Sponsors, Bands, volunteers and all of our supporters coming out to share this annual event!
Thank you to all who participated in our events, Co****le, Beauty Contest, Car Show and Parade.
Smiles, kids, parents, grandparents everybody! Some to tired to speak but they'd smile and wave.
If you missed spending time at the Kid's Zone you missed what it's all about. Playing in our pop-up play group, riding trikes, playing with animals at the petting zoo and cruising town in the barrels. All laughing and smiling!
I may be wrong but I think Friday nights crowd was as big as Saturdays past and last night was even bigger!
Thank you to everyone who helped and participated in letting us do what we love, "having fun and helping kids".

Till next year, Shine On!
