The Goshen Mills Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), welcomes you to learn more about our chapter. We meet in Montgomery County, Maryland. Our members comprise a dynamic group of women of varied ages and diverse interests.
The NSDAR is a women’s service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, patriotism, and honoring the patriots of the Revolutionary War. Members are all direct descendants of a man or woman who provided military or civilian patriotic service during the American Revolutionary War.
Chapter meetings generally are held monthly, on a Saturday, from September through June, with a break in March, to allow members to attend the Maryland Society’s State Conference. We welcome prospective members. Please contact us if you are interested in attending one of our meetings.
The DAR is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children.
