That is the spirit of this year’s Gallop to Glory. Musica Viva Kentlands invites you to
experience a free outdoor concert featuring a professional orchestra, beloved
classical works, and an evening of music with family, friends, and neighbors.

Under the direction of Music Director Maestro Simeone Tartaglione, the program
includes Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Wagner’s Ride of
the Valkyries, and the Intermezzo from Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana. Violinist
Alessandra Cuffaro will join us for Sarasate’s dazzling Zapateado.

We are looking for volunteers to serve as course marshals for the Kentlands | Lakelands 5K!

This is a particularly convenient volunteer opportunity for those who live along the race route—just step outside your front door at 7:45 AM and hang out there until around 9:30 AM. Cheer for the runners, make sure cars stay off the course, and assist any distressed or injured runners until additional help arrives.

Don’t live along the race route? No problem. We’ll find a spot for you!

All volunteers get a t-shirt and an invitation to our volunteer dinner sponsored by and !
