Come and design some thoughtful, hand-made cards to send to your loved ones, while also donating just one card from your collection to a sick child in hospital. Send an uplifting or inspiring message to bring a smile to a child’s face. This is a free workshop series, and you can attend one or all sessions.

The Kentlands Film Society is proud to kick off its 2026-27 season with the German movie, I’m Your Man. To obtain funds for her research, a skeptical archaeologist is persuaded to participate in an extraordinary study. For three weeks she must live with Tom (Dan Stevens), a humanoid robot designed to be her perfect life partner. This romantic sci-fi is a witty, touching look at love and humanity.

I’m Your Man will be shown at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn on October 18. Doors open at 6:15 PM. The movie starts at 7:00 PM. Although our season tickets are sold out, there are often a few seats available at the door for $12 a person. Contact [email protected]. The New Urbanism group is hosting a Pop-Up Museum of Kentlands at the Carriage House from 12 PM to 5 PM. Stop by to add to our community mural, learn some Kentlands History, and make a craft.

Artists on Market will be hosting a kids craft event from 12 PM to 5 PM. Drop by to make a spooky Halloween-themed cupcake liner owl!
