See this sweet lady? This is Anniston! 💙

Over the past few months, Anniston has been serving as an intern with Foster Florida, and we are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart she has poured into supporting families on the frontlines of foster care.

Here's what she had to say about her experience:

"I decided to intern with Foster Florida because my family has fostered and been involved with the organization, so I already knew what amazing work they do. Being able to connect with children and families and uplift them in times of need has been an invaluable experience. Foster families provide a selfless and necessary service by opening their homes to children who need them, and I'm grateful to have played a small part in supporting them."

A huge shoutout to David Bender of Bender 7 car detailing Gainesville! 💛

Not only did David donate a car detailing service to support Foster Florida's Clay Shoot fundraiser in March, but he also generously donated TWO car detailing services for dads on the frontlines of foster care this Father's Day.

Thank you for investing in the families we serve and for being a true Village Builder. We are so grateful for community partners like you who step up to support foster, adoptive, relative, and kinship families in meaningful ways.

Last night we had the privilege of celebrating some incredible dads on the frontlines of foster care.

It was an evening filled with great food, friendly competition, and meaningful connection.

A huge thank you to Matt from29:11 Barbecue & catering for providing an amazing BBQ dinner, Monica Brook for the amazing desserts, and to Destiny Community Church for opening your doors and creating a fantastic mini golf experience for our dads.
Most importantly, thank you to the dads who joined us. We are grateful for your dedication to the children and families you serve every day. ❤️

💜 Words of Wisdom from Moms on the Frontlines 💜

During our Mother's Day celebration, we asked foster and adoptive moms to share their words of wisdom for other moms walking this journey.

Here's what one mom shared:

"Be patient with yourself and realize it's a learning process. It's very rewarding, but challenging at the same time."

Foster care isn't about being a perfect parent. It's about showing up, learning as you go, and extending grace to yourself along the way.

To every mom on the frontlines: keep going. What you're doing matters. 💜
