🌟 Legacy Link Dementia Care Group Education Programs 🌟
Serving Banks, Dawson, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union, and White counties.

Legacy Link is proud to offer FREE dementia education programs for individuals, caregivers, and senior groups. These sessions help our community better understand dementia and provide support for those affected.

💙 For Everyone:
🧠 Dementia Friends (1 hour) – Learn how dementia affects people and how you can make a positive difference.
🪑 Ageless Grace (1 hour) – A fun, chair-based brain fitness program that keeps participants moving and thinking through play.

💚 For Caregivers:
🔄 Responding to Changes (1 hour) – Understand common changes in dementia and gain practical tips for responding with confidence and compassion.

💜 For Senior Groups:
🎵 Music & Memory Bingo (1 hour) – A lively, music-filled twist on bingo, featuring trivia, prizes, and insights into dementia vs. normal aging.

At NGSR we realize a nurse is the pulse of all we do for seniors. They have a part in referring, managing, overseeing, and providing care for each and every senior we serve. We applaud them and say THANK YOU for all you do!

Be sure to tag your favorite nurse and thank them for their selfless giving to others.

So proud of what our community accomplished! 💙 The assisted living food drive for North Georgia Senior Resource was a huge success — we collected a total of 270 pounds of food!

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make this happen. It truly takes a village, and this one showed up in a big way. 🫶

North Georgia Senior Resource Group meeting this morning was a great way to connect and reset. We kicked things off with a fun “get to know everyone” game that brought a lot of laughs and helped everyone learn a little more about each other. Always good to build stronger relationships while sharing ideas and supporting our community.
