Our hearts are overflowing. 🥹
We are incredibly humbled by the outpouring of love for Tess. In just hours after posting her story, our village showed up through donations, prayers, messages, and shares.
Every donation, every share, every prayer spoken on her behalf reminded us that this work has never been ours alone. You believe in Tess. You believe in healing. And you believe in the powerful bond between a horse and a child.
Because of you, we are now working with the University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital and our incredible vet to schedule her stem cell therapy and build a thoughtful rehabilitation plan. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for loving Tess. Thank you for being the kind of village that carries hope when it matters most. 🤍

Meet Si, American Quarter Horse and one of the biggest horses on the ranch… with absolutely no idea that he’s one of the biggest horses on the ranch. 😄

Si’s nickname is “the giant puppy dog,” and he lives up to it daily. He loves to play with everything, happily trots around like a goofball, and somehow still ranks as the low man on the herd totem pole. Big body, soft heart.

Can you guess his favorite thing of all? Tiny friends. Cats, minis, anything small and fuzzy, Si can’t resist. If there’s a little critter anywhere on the property, chances are Si is gently looming nearby, trying to make friends and wondering if they want to play.

Si is living proof that being big doesn’t mean being tough…sometimes it just means there’s more of you to love. ❤️‍🔥

A very big ask for a very special horse ❤️

Today we are coming to our village with a serious and heartfelt need.

Our sweet Tess has been diagnosed with a suspensory tear in her hind leg. Without advanced treatment, she faces 9–12 months of stall rest, and even then she may never be safely rideable again.

But we’ve been given a huge gift of hope.

The fabulous team at Equine Medical Center and the surgical team at UGA have worked with us to make stem cell therapy available at a discounted rate, and they are very confident this treatment can significantly improve Tess’s chances of recovery.

The estimated UGA cost for her exam, ultrasound, and stem cell injection is about $600 total. After that, Tess will need 2–3 follow-up ultrasounds over the next 6–8 months (about $130 each) to monitor healing and guide her rehab.

That brings our total fundraising goal to roughly $1,000 to cover Tess’s treatment and follow-up care.

Tess is only 14 years old and is the perfect horse for children. She is endlessly patient, incredibly kind, and truly one of the greatest gifts to our program. She has finally found her “dream job,” and we want to do everything we can to help her continue bringing hope and love to the kids counting on her.

We are asking for help covering the cost of Tess’s therapy and follow-up care so we can give her the best possible chance at a full, comfortable recovery. If you feel so led, we would be beyond grateful for your support!

Love Art + Kids? This is for you! 🎨

We’re looking for someone who loves art, kids, and creativity to volunteer in our art room during our 2026 sessions!

This volunteer would help lead crafts and creative activities for our kids during the following times:
🖌 Mondays & Tuesdays: 4–5 PM and 5–6 PM
🖌 Thursdays: 5–6 PM only

If you know a teacher, artist, college student, retired creative soul, or anyone who enjoys working with kids and creating, we’d love to connect with them!

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re reflecting with full hearts on all that God has done at the ranch this year.
Through dusty boots and early mornings, quiet moments with our horses, laughter from children finding their confidence, and countless small acts of kindness that often go unseen, this place continues to be holy ground.

Our horses have once again been steady teachers of patience, trust, and healing. Our kids have shown courage, resilience, and joy. And our community- staff, volunteers, families, and supporters- has surrounded this ranch with love, prayer, and generosity that carries us through even the hardest days.

Thank you for believing in this mission, for loving these horses, and for helping create a safe place where young hearts can heal and hope can grow. We are deeply grateful for every hand, every prayer, and every story that became part of this year.
