The North Florida FAPA received a generous donation from the No More Foundation (https://www.facebook.com/DECLARENOMORE) during the recent No More Orphans event hosted by Living Hope at Church on the Way in Lake City, FL. The event united agencies, partners, and community members to raise awareness about the need for foster and adoptive homes.
The anonymous donation in the silent auction at the event was given to NF-FAPA to help local adoptive parents purchase Christmas gifts for their children this year. In working with PFSF, CarePortal, The Isaiah 117 House, Foster Florida, and One More Child, nominations were received and we identified and delivered funds to SEVEN deserving families spanning over Alachua, Baker, Columbia, Levy, and Suwannee counties just in time for the holidays!
